This summer, we learned that Pink Floyd would be releasing its first album since 1994′s “The Division Bell,” and the band’s fans rightfully went a little bonkers.
Well, some details have finally emerged about the new work, which is being released Nov. 10 on Columbia Records. Every song on “Endless River” is instrumental, with the exception of “Louder Than Words,” which features lyrics written by novelist and songwriter Polly Samson, who is married to guitarist David Gilmour. The four-sided concept album comes from about 20 hours of music recorded with keyboardist Rick Wright before he died in 2008. You can hear a tiny snippet on the site for “The Endless River.”
