TV highlights: C-SPAN telecasts Ben Bradlee’s funeral from National Cathedral

To honor the late former editor of The Washington Post, C-SPAN will broadcast “Ben Bradlee’s funeral” (11 a.m.) live from the Washington National Cathedral.

The film “A Poet in New York” (BBC America at 8 p.m.) chronicles Welsh poet Dylan Thomas’s time in 1950s New York City, where he basked in his newfound fame and confronted his own personal demons. English actor Tom Hollander stars.
